Questions, answered

Everything you might want to know about how Lumecut works — from turnaround times and revisions to plans, privacy, and what makes a subscription editing team different. Still unsure? Book a quick call.

Getting started

What exactly is Lumecut? +
Lumecut is a video editing service delivered on a flat monthly subscription. Instead of hiring an in-house editor or chasing freelancers, you get a dedicated, vetted editing team that turns your raw footage into finished, on-brand video for YouTube, social media, Reels, Shorts and ads.
What happens right after I subscribe? +
Within 24 hours you get access to your private project board and a short walkthrough video. That board is your mission control: submit footage, track progress, leave feedback, and talk to your editor. Upload your first batch of raw footage with notes, and we get to work.
How do I submit footage and editing requests? +
You drop your raw footage into your board along with editing notes, reference videos, brand guidelines, and any creative direction. From YouTube long-form to Reels, TikToks and Shorts, you tell us what you need and we handle the rest. Large files can be shared by link or cloud folder.
Do I need to know anything technical? +
No. You don't need editing software, templates, or a brief written like a producer. Send clips and plain-language notes; your project manager translates them into a clear edit. The simpler you keep it, the more we handle for you.

Editing & delivery

How quickly will I get my edited videos? +
Most videos are delivered within 2 to 4 working days. More complex projects, such as long-form documentaries or edits with heavy VFX, can take a little longer. Either way, you receive progress updates roughly every 24 hours so you always know where things stand.
What types of video do you edit? +
Long-form YouTube videos, short-form Reels, Shorts and TikToks, podcast and interview cut-downs, talking-head content, course and training videos, product and brand ads, and more. If it lives on a screen, we most likely edit it. Custom projects cover anything outside the standard plans.
How do revisions work? +
Each plan includes a set number of revision requests per video, and higher tiers include unlimited revisions. You leave time-stamped feedback on your board, and your editor works through it. We keep refining until the video matches what you had in mind.
Will my videos have a consistent style? +
Yes, and that's the point. We learn your brand once, from your guidelines and past videos, and apply it across everything we touch. The same editing team stays with your account, so your tenth video feels like a continuation of your first, not a new experiment.
Who actually edits my videos? +
Vetted professional editors, supported by colorists, sound designers and motion artists when a project calls for them, with a dedicated project manager keeping everything on schedule. You get agency-level talent without managing any of them directly.

Plans & billing

Can I pause or change my plan? +
Yes. Plans are month to month. Scale up when you're publishing more, scale down or pause when you're not. There are no long contracts and no cancellation fees, so your plan can follow your real workload.
What does one video count as? +
One finished video up to the length limit of your plan. Short-form clips each count as one short-form video. We confirm scope at the start so there are never surprises about what's included.
Is there a setup fee or contract? +
No setup fee and no lock-in contract. You pay your monthly rate, and you can cancel before your next cycle whenever you choose. We'd rather earn each month than trap you in one.
What if I need more than a plan offers? +
Many clients combine a subscription with occasional custom projects for bigger one-off videos. If your needs sit between two plans, talk to us and we'll tailor something that fits, rather than pushing you into the wrong tier.
How does the custom project option work? +
Custom projects start at $6,000 and are for standalone, high-impact videos rather than a monthly cadence, such as a launch film, a brand piece, or a flagship ad. We scope it together, agree the deliverable, and produce it as a dedicated project.

Working with us

What makes Lumecut different from a freelancer? +
A freelancer is one person with finite hours, variable availability, and a single skill set. Lumecut is a team with built-in backup, consistent quality, and the capacity to scale your output without you re-hiring. You also get a project manager, so nothing slips.
What if I'm not happy with the work? +
We revise until it's right, within your plan's revision terms. On top of that, if your very first delivered video doesn't meet the standard we promised, we'll keep working on it or refund your first month. We'd rather fix it than have you leave unhappy.
Do you sign NDAs and keep my footage private? +
Yes. Your footage and projects are confidential, and we're happy to sign an NDA. Your raw files and finished videos are yours, and we never reuse your content without permission.
Where are you based, and do you work with international clients? +
We're based in Dubai and work with creators and brands worldwide, across time zones. Communication runs through your board and email, so collaboration stays smooth no matter where you are.
